The Warrior Bride: Blow the Trumpet in Zion

Warrior Bride

Warrior Bride

This article is about the POWER of unity. It is about what God is doing right now on the earth through the Church. We need to make sure our hearts are ready for this so that we are not bound by fear of humiliation, shame, hopelessness, despair, anger, selfishness/narcissicm, immaturity, prejudice, hatred, jealousy, or pride.

BLOW THE TRUMPET IN ZION!

JOEL 2 (Note: Zion = Church)

1Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill. Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming. It is close at hand-2 a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness. Like dawn spreading across the mountains a large and mighty army comes, such as never was of old nor ever will be in ages to come.

3 Before them fire devours, behind them a flame blazes. Before them the land is like the garden of Eden, behind them, a desert waste—nothing escapes them.

Galloping Horses

4 They have the appearance of horses; they gallop along like cavalry. 5 With a noise like that of chariots they leap over the mountaintops, like a crackling fire consuming stubble, like a mighty army drawn up for battle.

6 At the sight of them, nations are in anguish; every face turns pale. 7 They charge like warriors; they scale walls like soldiers.

Could the Bride of Christ (Church) be the army referred to in this passage of Scripture? Who else would Jesus be leading?

When the Church finally gets over fighting one another, hopefully they will reach a point when they will put their focus on Jesus to fight their true enemy, the devil, instead of human beings and begin to march in line, in UNITY, to take back the territory Satan has stolen from God, as follows:

Firey Sword of Truth

Firey Sword of Truth

They all march in line, not swerving from their course. 8 They do not jostle each other; each marches straight ahead. They plunge through defenses without breaking ranks.

9 They rush upon the city; they run along the wall. They climb into the houses; like thieves they enter through the windows.

10 Before them the earth shakes, the sky trembles, the sun and moon are darkened, and the stars no longer shine.

11 The LORD thunders at the head of his army; his forces are beyond number, and mighty are those who obey his command.

The day of the LORD is great; it is dreadful. Who can endure it?

The territory the Church is to take back from Satan is the stony, cold heart of man; healing the wounds of the broken heart that turned our hearts into hearts of stone that trust no one.

GOD HAS NOT ABANDONED OR REJECTED US!

He made the plan to lay down His life for mankind before humanity was even created! This fact alone should warm the hearts of mankind, but many preach Christ as if God is out for our blood, rather than willing to give us His own!

However, we can never take the territory of the heart back from Satan if the Church inflicts exactly the same wounds upon the heart of man that Satan uses against it; intimidation, judgment, hatred, “holier-than-thou”, “I gotta always be right”, offenses, & rejection. Those are the strategies Satan uses to drive fear, distrust, and hatred between people so they will rely on themselves and no one else, especially not God or the Church!

Rend Your Hearts

Rend Your Hearts!

“Even now,” declares the LORD,

“return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.”

13 Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the LORD your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity.

14 Who knows? He may turn and have pity and leave behind a blessing—grain offerings and drink offerings for the LORD your God.

The time has come for the Body of Christ to repent from its divisiveness against one another. It is time to lay aside every encumbrance that prevents it from drawing near to God with the complete abandon and full commitment it needs to bring in the Kingdom of Heaven to earth.

Purified in the Firey Love of the Cross

Purified in the Firey Love of the Cross

It is time for a Bride without Spot or Wrinkle to reveal herself in the earth. It is time for His Bride to purify her heart and be made clean. It is time for the Church to Unite!

15 Blow the trumpet in Zion,

declare a holy fast, call a sacred assembly.

16 Gather the people, consecrate the assembly; bring together the elders, gather the children, those nursing at the breast. Let the bridegroom leave his room

and the bride her chamber.

High Priest Praying

17 Let the priests, who minister before the LORD, weep between the temple porch and the altar. Let them say, “Spare your people, O LORD. Do not make your inheritance an object of scorn, a byword among the nations. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?’ ”

The LORD’s Answer

18 Then the LORD will be jealous for his land and take pity on his people.

19 The LORD will reply to them: “I am sending you grain, new wine and oil, enough to satisfy you fully; never again will I make you an object of scorn to the nations.

20 “I will drive the northern army far from you, pushing it into a parched and barren land, with its front columns going into the eastern sea and those in the rear into the western sea. And its stench will go up; its smell will rise.” Surely he has done great things.

21 Be not afraid, O land; be glad and rejoice. Surely the LORD has done great things. The Vineyard of Our Love

22 Be not afraid, O wild animals, for the open pastures are becoming green. The trees are bearing their fruit; the fig tree and the vine yield their riches.

Spring and Autumn Rains

23 Be glad, O people of Zion, rejoice in the LORD your God, for he has given you the autumn rains in righteousness. He sends you abundant showers, both autumn and spring rains, as before.

24 The threshing floors will be filled with grain; the vats will overflow with new wine and oil.

25 “I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten— the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm — my great army that I sent among you.

26 You will have plenty to eat, until you are full, and you will praise the name of the LORD your God, who has worked wonders for you; never again will my people be shamed.

27 Then you will know that I am in Israel, that I am the LORD your God, and that there is no other; never again will my people be shamed.

The Day of the LORD

28 “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.

Pouring Out His Spirit

29 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days. 30 I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke.

31 The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD. 32 And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the LORD has said, among the survivors whom the LORD calls.

ISAIAH 60

The Glory of the Lord is Upon Us

1“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. 2 See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you.

3 Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.

4 “Lift up your eyes and look about you: All assemble and come to you;

your sons come from afar, and your daughters are carried on the arm.

5 Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy; the wealth on the seas will be brought to you, to you the riches of the nations will come. 6 Herds of camels will cover your land, young camels of Midian and Ephah. And all from Sheba will come, bearing gold and incense and proclaiming the praise of the LORD.

7 All Kedar’s flocks will be gathered to you, the rams of Nebaioth will serve you; they will be accepted as offerings on my altar, and I will adorn my glorious temple.

Heavenly Gem Stones

8 “Who are these that fly along like clouds, like doves to their nests?

9 Surely the islands look to me; in the lead are the ships of Tarshish, bringing your sons from afar, with their silver and gold, to the honor of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendor.

10 “Foreigners will rebuild your walls, and their kings will serve you. Though in anger I struck you, in favor I will show you compassion.

11 Your gates will always stand open, they will never be shut, day or night, so that men may bring you the wealth of the nations—their kings led in triumphal procession.

12 For the nation or kingdom that will not serve you will perish; it will be utterly ruined. 13 “The glory of Lebanon will come to you, the pine, the fir and the cypress together, to adorn the place of my sanctuary; and I will glorify the place of my feet.

Adorn the Place of His Feet (Christians who Proclaim Good News)

Adorn the Place of His Feet (Christians who Proclaim Good News)

14 The sons of your oppressors will come bowing before you; all who despise you will bow down at your feet and will call you the City of the LORD, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

15 “Although you have been forsaken and hated, with no one traveling through, I will make you the everlasting pride and the joy of all generations.

16 You will drink the milk of nations and be nursed at royal breasts. Then you will know that I, the LORD, am your Savior, your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.

17 Instead of bronze I will bring you gold, and silver in place of iron. Instead of wood I will bring you bronze, and iron in place of stones. I will make peace your governor and righteousness your ruler.

Peace Your Righteous Ruler

Peace Your Righteous Ruler

18 No longer will violence be heard in your land, nor ruin or destruction within your borders, but you will call your walls Salvation and your gates Praise.

19 The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.

The Glory of the Lord Upon Us

The Glory of the Lord Upon Us

20 Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more; the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end.

21 Then will all your people be righteous and they will possess the land forever. They are the shoot I have planted, the work of my hands, for the display of my splendor.

22 The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation. I am the LORD; in its time I will do this swiftly.
